Resizing a ring smaller:
A portion of the ring will be removed from the bottom of the band and the ring will be soldered back together again and reconstructed into a circular shape, polished, and returned to you.
If pavé diamonds are set into the band, we want to avoid needing to resize down too far as we risk stretching and loosening the diamond settings in the process of making the ring round again with a new smaller circumference and the stones may fall out over time. We take special precautions to retighten these settings during the resizing process but it's important for you to know that once these settings have been stretched during resizing, they technically aren't as strong as the original ring.
Resizing a ring larger:
A portion of the ring will be added to the bottom of the band and the ring will be soldered back together again and reconstructed into a circular shape, polished, and returned to you.
Adding metal to a ring means you will now have two solder seams at the base of your ring. For this reason, as long as pavé diamonds aren't involved, we generally prefer to size down rather than up.
Can I resize my ring more than once?
We recommend limiting resizing as much as possible. Rings will become unstable if you resize them too many times. Ideally a ring would not be resized more than once in your lifetime but we understand issues may come up and we will communicate any concerns if we have them.

We work exclusively with rare and valuable precious metals, with a focus on primarily recycled 14k & 18k gold. We believe gold is a luxury investment, therefore we only use solid gold - never vermeil, plated, or filled.
Working with trusted gemstone suppliers, we hand-select all of our unique natural diamonds and sapphires and are committed to disclosing all we know about a stone’s origin and treatment.
We welcome all individuals and couples to work with us on special pieces to commemorate engagements, commitments, and beyond. Our approach is consultative and transparent. When you work with our team, you will feel at ease and confident in their expertise.
