Whether it’s proposing to the love of your life, marking a special occasion in gold, or truly treating yourself with a gem as amazing as you are, we’re here for it.
With an eye for balance, durability, and function, Valerie's inspiration comes from the beautiful spectrum of colors of diamonds and gemstones she sources as well as the geometry and shapes they come in. All jewelry tells a story and we believe in fine jewelry as an expression of the desire to decorate oneself with metals and jewels that reflect the love and style you want to reflect outwards.
Valerie merges contemporary technology with skillful artistry to create elegant designs inspired by classic styles. With her keen eye for detail and passion for individuality, her designs celebrate not only the beauty of life and love but also the natural world and the stunning gemstones that come from it. A Valerie Madison piece features styles and stones not seen in traditional pieces, such as salt-and-pepper diamonds, rose-cut diamonds, uniquely shaped stones, vibrant hues, and more. Valerie is a Black Latina and proud to be diversifying the jewelry industry with her Seattle small business.

We believe in kindness, diversity, and fresh perspectives for our customers who seek to celebrate life’s big moments and commemorate all kinds of love.
We create vibrant, elegant, and novel designs that are desirable not only because of how different and individualistic they are, but also because they are made with high quality materials and designed to ensure they can be worn for generations. We have an eye for detail that won’t be surpassed.
Valerie graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Environmental Science & Resource Management. A love of the Earth is in our DNA! We use recycled metals, conflict-free diamonds, Australian & Montana sapphires, and more, sourced through reputable and trustworthy vendors.

I love my job, especially when choosing gemstones! I hand-select every stone you see in our designs with beauty and quality being my top considerations. I have a degree in Environmental Science & Resource Management making me a great advocate for our planet. I love dinosaurs, practicing my Spanish, and tending to my indoor jungle at home.
I lead our Sales Team and am the Store Manager for our charming Madrona showroom. I met Valerie in 2017 and joined her as employee #2 just shortly after, it’s been an incredible experience to see the VM brand grow through the years. When I’m not at work I love reading and cuddling my kitties Theodore & Beatrix.
I am the staff gemologist (aka gem nerd) and sales associate who can help answer all your jewelry questions, write your appraisal, or source the perfect stone for your ring. When I’m not in the studio you can find me teaching fitness classes, making Spotify playlists, writing, or watching the newest episode of Dateline.
I fell in love with vintage and ethically made fine jewelry in college. To adorn yourself in it marries the stunning beauty our planet provides us with a sentimental meaning you attach. As a sales associate, I am excited to share the craftsmanship at VM. When not at work, you can find me practicing minimalism with maximalist design, lounging with my cat Miss Cleo, collecting tea, and learning how to parallel park!
I’m a life long lover of sparkles, gems and all things pretty, so I’m thrilled to be working with all the beautiful jewelry here at VM. In my spare time, I teach yoga and dabble in graphic design. When I’m not working, you can find me thrifting around local markets, cooking, or candle making!
I love that my job combines building community through digital media and getting to play with beautiful sparkling things. I’m excited to bring an analytic and strategic mindset to Valerie Madison Jewelry’s digital presence while working alongside such kind humans. Outside of work you’ll find me probably on my couch watching something sappy, reading, scrolling TikTok and/or shopping for shoes online.
I take video content of everything that happens at Valerie Madison to share to our growing followers on social media. I love creating a story with our beautiful and unique jewelry for everyone in the world to see. When I am not creating video content, you can find me taking photos, baking macarons, hanging out with my family and friends and exploring the latest restaurants in Seattle!
I keep track of inventory and ship your orders! A few things I enjoy include curating my wardrobe, making clothes and plant care. You can find me cutting up my old bed sheet to sew into pants or rotating my begonia collection for maximum sun!
As the face of VM’s Customer Service Department, I strive to make your experience memorable and stress-free. When I am not helping customers via email, chat or over the phone, I am cultivating our in-store merchandise to offer the best sourced gifts for our local shoppers. My sense of humor and colorful personality helps ensure that you will be taken care of no matter what!
I get to take pictures of sparkly things for a living! Each day I wake up feeling blessed, with the intention of bringing more beauty into the world through my work at VM. I focus on contributing in creative and playful ways that add value to the company. After hours, my time is spent going on spontaneous adventures and decorating unconventional cakes for friends and family.
I am here to keep things running smoothly and in-step with our growth trajectory. My decades long background in jewelry production, retail, and small business operations make this a great place for me to have a positive impact. When I am not here you can find me thrifting, laughing at my cats, and spending time with friends & family.
I am quiet, dedicated, and passionate about working with my hands. I wake up every day excited to put all my love and positivity into the things I make. I’ve lived in Seattle most of my life, except for the 4 years I spent at the Rhode Island School of Design. When I’m not making jewelry, I run, bike, knit, play piano, and drink caffeinated beverages. Sometimes I’m a little too serious.
I make the shiny stuff. When I’m not goldsmithing for Valerie Madison or working in my own jewelry studio, I’m either DIY renovating my mid-mod dream house or in my kitchen testing new recipes. I couldn’t remain at the top of my game in every way without the support of my handsome cat, clever dachshund puppy and my amazing husband to be.
I like to visit the office and zoom around looking for snacks and butt scratches. Everyone is always so excited to see me when I visit so I'm happy that I'm able to please!
