Ring Sizing Guide

How to Find Your Ring Size

Determining your ring size can feel like an art sometimes — but we are here to help you get to your most accurate fit.

Ring Sizing Tips

If you cannot come in to be sized in person at our Seattle store, use the tips below to get the best reading from our ring sizers.

01

Only you can determine what fits you absolutely best. A ring should slide on fairly easily and have some resistance when taking it off over the knuckle. Our sizers do not have ¼ sizes — the dash between two numbers means a half size.

02

Your finger should feel no tightness while wearing a ring. No one else should be able to pull your ring off easily, but it should not be difficult for you personally to remove.

03

Wide rings fit more snugly than narrower rings. Use the appropriate ring sizer width, or add ¼ to ½ size to measurements taken with a narrow sizer. When in doubt, give us a call — we are happy to help.

04

It is not unusual for rings to fit differently throughout the day or across seasons. Your ring may feel snug in summer heat and spin loosely in colder winter months — this is completely normal.

Factors That Affect Ring Size

Temperature

Body temperature affects blood circulation, which affects finger size. Your fingers will be slightly larger when you are warm and smaller when you are cool.

Season

Finger size can change by ¼ to ½ a ring size between seasons. We recommend sizing for your largest measurement — the warmest time of year — so your ring fits comfortably year-round.

Diet and Time of Day

Fingers often feel slightly swollen in the morning, especially after a salty meal. The best time to measure is late afternoon, when hydration levels have stabilized and size fluctuations are minimal.

Activity Level

Fingers can swell during and after exercise as your circulatory system pushes blood to your extremities. If you are active, consider sizing slightly larger to accommodate these natural changes.
