We want you to be satisfied with your VM purchase, read below for our policy on returns, exchanges, and/or store credit.
Once an order has been placed, we begin production within 48 hours and it cannot be canceled. Changes to orders within the first 48 hours are subject to a $50 change fee. Contact us within 14 days of receipt to initiate a return or exchange. (Sales will be considered final after 14 days of delivery or pickup.) Once your return/exchange is approved, the item(s) must arrive at our store within 5 business days.
While we partner with FedEx to ship our own packages, you may use the carrier of your choice. If you have a jewelry insurer, they may cover shipping for repairs and we recommend reaching out to them directly to inquire.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs (including providing a tracking number) involved in returning the item. Valerie Madison does not refund items that are lost or damaged in transit back to our studio - please be sure to package your items with extra padding, instructions will be provided once your return/exchange is approved.
If approved for an exchange, you may select an item of equal or greater value. If approved for a return, all refunds will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Store credit is issued on a case-by-case basis. (i.e. you were gifted a piece)
Returning an item with the intention of repurchasing the same item (to avoid paying to resize) will not be approved. This resizing fee covers labor, time, and materials.
Any applicable warranty or return or exchange policy will be voided if the item has been modified, repaired, or resized by a jeweler other than Valerie Madison. Additionally, items that have been resized, damaged, or otherwise altered will not be accepted for a return/exchange. Please read our jewelry warranty information here.
Gift Cards and E-Gift Card are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards are not replaceable.
We reserve the right to refuse any merchandise that does not meet our return policy guidelines.
