Meet the Glow Collection!

Welcome to January and new beginnings! We’re choosing to believe the brightest things are yet to come and we are grateful for the new leaf this calendar year has brought us. With this sentiment, we’re thrilled to introduce our first collection of 2022 - the Glow collection. We’re introducing nine one-of-a-kind sapphire & diamond rings created with careful craftsmanship, and drenched in vibrant hues.

If 2022 is the year for you to shout YES in your love story, whether it’s to an engagement, a well-deserved promotion, or a momentous anniversary, we want you to have only the most vivid and radiant one-of-a-kind rings at your ready.
Read on below for a few highlights from the collection and a peek into why these treasures are so special.

Two sapphire and diamond two stone rings set in yellow gold

Toi Et Moi

Signifying two entities joining in union, “you and me,” is a deeply meaningful setting. One of the first toi et moi rings recorded in history was gifted to Josephine de Beauharnais by Napoleon Bonaparte when he was a young officer. Since then the symbolic setting has graced the hands of America’s own Jackie O as well as royalty from around the globe, like Danish Queen Magrethe II in 1966 and modern pop princess Ariana Grande and most recently Megan Fox. Singer/songwriter, Solange Knowles, and model, Emily Ratajkowski each have their own unique iterations of the setting as well.

The design of a toi et moiring is carefully based on the size and shape of the specific stones chosen to nest together. Valerie selects colors, shapes, and sizes that complement each other or provide a luscious contrast to wear for a lifetime. With a Gemma, the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts and we’ve got not one, but two ready and waiting for you!

Three Rings with Prong Designs

An Ode to Prongs

One of our core pillars at Valerie Madison is craft. For a sapphire to shine its brightest, and a diamond to last its longest, the structure of a ring must be durable and physically stable enough to withstand lifetimes of wear and tear. To do this, every detail of the gold a stone is set in is made with integrity, down to the prongs that cradle the showstopping gems we source. Prongs can follow the natural lines of a stone’s silhouette to properly protect the corners or serve a stylistic purpose and be added for dramatic flair. Both the Eva and Stella rings in this collection celebrate how prongs and gems come together to create an individual statement piece. Let’s raise a toast to the oft under-celebrated design elements of our rings, the prongs!

Double Marisol: For the Bold at Heart

An amplified version of Valerie Madison’s signature Marisol setting, the Double Marisol features two diamond halos around the center stone shining bright with Canadian-origin brilliant cut white diamonds. The Marisol setting, whether single or double, works to emphasize the vibrant hues of the center stone with the contrast supplied by the white diamond halos. The 1.09ct pink sapphire released in our Glow collection looms large and loud in sparkle with the Double Marisol setting, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
